A new Business Central company arrives empty. Before anyone can raise an invoice, someone has to build the chart of accounts, the posting groups, the VAT setups, the number series, the currencies, the dimensions. That work is normally measured in consultant-days and billed accordingly.
We do it in about five minutes, to a known-good standard, for a fixed fee.
What “configured” actually means
Not a template you still have to finish. A complete, working configuration:
- 88 general ledger accounts — a full chart of accounts, ready to post to
- 117 number series and their lines — sales, purchases, items, resources, journals
- 18 VAT posting setups and 15 general posting setups — the matrix that decides where every transaction lands
- 47 currencies with 53 exchange rates, and 68 countries and regions
- 48 accounting periods, created as a proper fiscal-year run
- Customer, vendor and inventory posting groups, dimensions and dimension values
- Manufacturing, fixed assets, jobs and HR — work centres, machine centres, BOMs, routings, depreciation books

Why this is not a RapidStart package
A RapidStart package is a spreadsheet you still have to import, validate and repair. It fails partway through on dependency order and leaves someone diagnosing why a posting group will not save.
FastBC deploys in dependency order — number series exist before the setups that reference them, and the chart of accounts exists before the posting setups that post into it. Every step is checked. If a record already exists it is recognised rather than duplicated, so running it twice does not create a mess.
That ordering is the difference between a configuration that works and a weekend of unpicking.

What is not included
We would rather be straight about this than surprise you later.
- Your data. This configures the company; it does not migrate your customers, suppliers, stock or open balances. We can quote separately.
- Your bespoke chart of accounts. You get a complete, working chart. Replicating yours exactly is a tailoring job on top.
- The Business Central licence. Not part of the £2,500 — but we can sort it out for you. We are a Microsoft partner, so if you would rather not deal with licence purchasing, renewals and support yourself, we can take that on. Just ask.

Questions we get asked
Five minutes? Really?
Two measured runs on 12 August 2026 took 5 minutes 32 seconds and 4 minutes 4 seconds, from an empty company to a fully configured one. Both were verified by reading the data back out of Business Central rather than trusting the tool’s own report. Your tenant may be slower. It will not be weeks.
What if something fails halfway?
Records that already exist are recognised, not duplicated, so the deployment can be re-run safely. The last run reported zero failures across all 57 tables.
Can we change it afterwards?
Yes. It is a standard Business Central company — nothing proprietary, nothing locked. Everything is configured through Microsoft’s own APIs, exactly as a consultant would have done by hand.
Is the price really fixed?
Yes. £2,500, one company, one deployment, guides and handover included. Data migration and bespoke tailoring are quoted separately, and always before any work starts.
