Amplio AppSource Apps — UK Compliance, Finance, Customer-Facing, Workforce
Eleven Business Central extensions live or in flight on Microsoft AppSource. Each one solves a repeating problem we hit on real client engagements — built once, documented openly, available to every BC customer. Try free, subscribe if it fits.
UK Compliance & Tax
- UK Group VAT MTD Bridge — aggregates VAT entries across BC companies sharing a single HMRC VRN; submits a single MTD-compliant return. For multi-entity groups with consolidated VAT registration.
- Companies House Integration — auto-populates customer/vendor master data from Companies House; periodic sweep flagging dormant or dissolved entities.
- R&D Tax Credit & Patent Box Tracking — tag GL entries against HMRC's qualifying R&D categories at the point of posting; year-end export pack ready for the tax advisor.
Finance & Accounting
- Bank Statement Importer & Smart Reconciliation — UK bank statement importers (Barclays, HSBC, Lloyds, NatWest, Santander); learning rule engine that auto-matches based on past reconciliations.
- Mass Journal Paste & Excel Power-Edit — paste hundreds of rows from Excel directly into BC journals with inline validation.
- Multi-Entity Allocation & Recharge Journal — configurable allocation keys; automated recharge journal generation across BC companies.
- Smart Recurring Contracts & Renewals Manager — contract repository over BC Subscription Billing; renewal alerts, RPI/CPI uplifts, churn-risk dashboard.
Customer-Facing & Documents
- Customer Self-Service Portal — external web portal for statements, invoice download, and pay-via-Stripe / GoCardless. Branded per tenant.
- Branded Document Delivery + Open Tracking — per-template branded HTML email; open/read tracking with timestamps; bounce handling.
- Delivery Routes — route planning and despatch optimisation for distribution clients running their own fleet.
Workforce
- HR-Lite for BC — UK-aware HR module: leave entitlement, sickness with SSP, dimension-wired so absence flows into project costing.
How licensing works
Each app is published on Microsoft AppSource with a free trial. Subscriptions are billed monthly via Microsoft (so it's on the same invoice as your BC licence). Cancel any time; uninstalling cleanly removes the extension without leaving residue in your BC tenant.
Don't see what you need?
Every app on this page started as a customer problem. If your workflow isn't covered by our published extensions, we'll either point you to one that fits, recommend a Power Apps build, or scope a custom AL extension.
Frequently asked questions
Are these apps on the Microsoft AppSource marketplace?
Yes — every Amplio extension on this page is listed on Microsoft commercial marketplace and installs directly into BC SaaS. AppSource handles the install + licence enforcement; we handle support.
Do they work with Business Central SaaS, or only on-prem?
SaaS-first. Every extension is built to Microsoft AppSource code standards, which means they run on BC Online out of the box. On-premise BC is supported on request but rare in our SMB customer base.
What does each app cost per month?
Pricing is per-tenant, per-month, scaled to user count or transaction volume depending on the app. Each app’s detail page has its own pricing range; ballpark £40–£300 per tenant per month for the smaller-scoped apps.
Can we trial an app before committing?
Yes — every app on AppSource ships with a 30-day trial. We can also stand up a sandbox tenant with the app pre-configured if your IT team would rather evaluate without touching production.
Do you also build custom extensions if none of these fit?
Yes — see the Custom Development page. If the same problem comes up across multiple clients, we’ll usually offer to publish it on AppSource rather than build it bespoke.
What ongoing support is included with the app subscription?
AppSource support for installation and licence issues, plus our retainer tiers (PAYG / Lite / Plus) for configuration help, integration support and training.
